2012 Regal Receives Hybrid Drivetrain and Turbo Engine
Buick is intensively working on its next generation 2012 LaCrosse and Regal models, wherein it is working on the engine to offer a better power and increasing its fuel efficiency as well.
With the introduction of GM’s eAssist system, next generation vehicles from Buick are expected to give 36mpg on highway in return.
LaCrosse eAssist is powered by 2.4 liter Ecotec engine that too with no addition cost as such, whereas Regal is propelled by a 2.0 liter Ecotec engine which delivers 270hp and torque of 295 pound-feet.
Fuel economy of the vehicle is also quite good as it offers 32mpg on highways and takes 6.7 seconds to accelerate from 0-60mph.
