Enclave Recall Details
The first Enclave model was introduced in 2007 as a 2008 version from Buick. Among all the models that have been released till now, the 2008 edition was reported to have many potential problems.
2009-10 Enclave Seat Belts Recall
In 2010, the company has recalled many models that had problems with the seat-belts as directed by the National Safety Authority. The side-trim shield of the 2nd row seat restricted the upward rotation of standard safety belt.

As a consequence, the seat belt could fail to protect the occupants in case of an accident, increasing the risk of injury. As a remedy, the respective dealers were directed to modify the 2nd row seat side-trim shields. If the seat buckle was damaged, then the dealers replaced it with a new one free of cost.
Electrical System Recall
General Motors had recalled many models that were released in between 2006 and 2009. This measure was taken in order to install a fuse to the electrical control circuit harness to address the consequences of a PCB electrical short.
But, after this inclusion, several thermal incidents have been reported on hwfs that can result in minor distortion to melting of plastic in and around the hwfs fluid chamber.
Defective Transmission Recall
Many of the 2008 Enclave models have come with faulty transmission system, and in order to fix this problem, the company has recalled all defective models under 2009 Buick Enclave recall. As a remedy, the dealers have been directed to replace the defective transmission system free of cost.
